Thompson School District will be hosting a FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid workshop for ADULTS on Monday, April 24th and Wednesday, April 26th from 5:00 pm- 9:00 pm.
Mental Health First Aid USA is an 8-hour training to teach participants how to help someone who is developing a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis The evidence behind the program demonstrates that it helps trainees identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders.
REGISTRATION REQUIRED - Particpants must attend both evenings.
This course is funded by a grant received by Colorado Department of Education and is valued at $170. We are thankful to have this opportunity to provide the class at no cost to you.
